CTET 2026 – Reading Comprehension हा Language Pedagogy मधील अत्यंत महत्त्वाचा घटक आहे. या घटकात उमेदवाराची वाचन क्षमता, समज, शब्दसंग्रह, विचारशक्ती व विश्लेषण कौशल्य तपासले जाते. परीक्षेत दिलेले Unseen Passages (Prose / Poem / Drama) वाचून त्यावर आधारित factual, inferential, analytical, vocabulary-based तसेच theme / title / central idea यावर प्रश्न विचारले जातात.
Reading Comprehension मुळे शिक्षक उमेदवाराची भाषा समजावून घेण्याची क्षमता, अर्थ लावण्याची पद्धत आणि विद्यार्थ्यांना वाचन कसे शिकवता येईल याचे आकलन होते. CTET मध्ये हा भाग scoring असून योग्य सराव केल्यास चांगले गुण मिळवता येतात.

Reading Comprehension म्हणजे दिलेल्या मजकुराचा (passage) अर्थ समजून घेणे, त्यावर विचार करणे आणि प्रश्नांची अचूक उत्तरे देणे. CTET 2026 मध्ये हा घटक Language Pedagogy अंतर्गत अत्यंत महत्त्वाचा आहे.

न पाहिलेला उतारा (गद्य / कविता / नाट्य)
Unseen Passage म्हणजे असा उतारा जो परीक्षेपूर्वी उमेदवाराने वाचलेला नसतो.
Types of Unseen Passages
- Prose (गद्य) – कथा, लेख, निबंध
- Poem (कविता) – भावनिक, निसर्गवर्णन, सामाजिक कविता
- Drama (नाट्य) – संवादात्मक उतारे

हे प्रश्न text analysis वर आधारित असतात.
