प्रस्तावना

Writing Skills are an important part of CTET English section.
CTET परीक्षेत उमेदवाराची language accuracy, logical thinking आणि grammatical knowledge तपासली जाते. Sentence Correction, Error Detection, Rearrangement of Sentences, Paragraph Organization आणि Cloze Test हे writing skills चे मुख्य घटक आहेत.

CTET-2026-Grammar Notes

English Club – Sentence Correction Tips

1️⃣ Sentence Correction

Meaning:
Sentence Correction म्हणजे दिलेल्या वाक्यातील grammar mistake ओळखून योग्य sentence तयार करणे.

Sentence Correction मध्ये खालील चुका आढळतात:

  • Subject–Verb Agreement (कर्ता-क्रियापद सुसंगती)
  • Tense Error (काळाची चूक)
  • Article Error (a, an, the)
  • Preposition Error

Example:
❌ He go to school daily.
✅ He goes to school daily.

👉 CTET मध्ये sentence correction वर आधारित प्रश्न वारंवार विचारले जातात.

2️⃣ Error Detection

Meaning:
Error Detection म्हणजे वाक्यातील wrong part शोधणे.

Pattern:
Sentence चार भागात विभागलेले असते – A, B, C, D.

Example:
She (A) / did not (B) / knew the answer (C) / yesterday (D)

Correct Part: (C) → knew → know

👉 येथे auxiliary verb (did) मुळे main verb base form मध्ये असतो.

3️⃣ Rearrangement of Sentences

Meaning:
Disorder मध्ये दिलेली sentences योग्य क्रमाने लावणे म्हणजे Rearrangement of Sentences.

Helpful Clues:

  • Beginning: First, Once, Long ago
  • Middle: Then, After that
  • Ending: Finally, Thus

Example:
A. He reached school
B. He woke up early
C. He took breakfast

✅ Correct order: B – C – A

👉 Logical sequence लक्षात घेणे अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे आहे.

4️⃣ Paragraph Organization

Meaning:
Paragraph Organization म्हणजे परिच्छेद योग्य flow मध्ये मांडणे.

Structure:

  1. Topic Sentence (मुख्य कल्पना)
  2. Supporting Sentences (स्पष्टीकरण)
  3. Conclusion Sentence (निष्कर्ष)

Example Flow:
Education → Importance → Benefits → Conclusion

👉 CTET मध्ये paragraph चा meaningful order महत्त्वाचा असतो.

5️⃣ Cloze Test

Meaning:
Cloze Test मध्ये paragraph दिला जातो व रिकाम्या जागेत योग्य शब्द भरायचा असतो.

Skills Tested:

  • Vocabulary
  • Grammar
  • Context Understanding

Example:
Honesty is ___ best policy.
a) a
b) an
c) the

✅ Correct Answer: (c) the

👉 संपूर्ण passage आधी वाचणे आवश्यक आहे.
